We define a "Mega Resort" to mean one that is not only large in terms of size (500+ rooms), but also one that has on-site upscale amenities such as a spa, fitness center, restaurants, shopping, abundant activities, and a fun nightlife. Atlantis Resort - Paradise Island, Bahamas
Deluxe high rise with 2300 rooms and casino.  Unique features include, 34-acre waterscape, worlds largest outdoor aquarium, 11 exhibit lagoons with over 200 species of tropical fish, cascading waterfalls with a rope suspension bridge, Predator Lagoon with sharks, barracudas and stingrays, including a 100 foot viewing tunnel, and a lazy river ride for rafting. Yes, a cruise ship can be a mega-resort, and sometimes it's easy to forget you're on a ship! Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas houses amazing features like an ice-skating rink, a street fair and a rock-climbing wall – among others.  The 3,114-guest Adventure of the Seas is part of the Voyager class of ships, which represents one of the highest space-per-guest ratios in the cruise market – and includes enhanced staterooms, expanded dining options and exceptional recreational facilities.  Meals are included and beverage cards can be purchased for a reasonable price.
