Not Exactly A Resort

It’s not exactly a resort.

The kids were bored.  Even my parents complained about the food.  Our relatives were scattered from RV campgrounds to hotels in town.

I told my wife there has to be a better place to hold a family reunion than our house.

Picture this!

White sand, pools, swim up bars, 1,200 square foot rooms, premium food and drinks, 5-star service and special experiences for the entire family await at Azul Fives all inclusive resort on the Mexican Riviera.

This is a great spot to plan a multi-generational getaway, reunion, or wedding.  The resort caters to couples, gives a warm welcome to families, and everyone enjoys the pampering that only a luxury hotel provides.

Check into the exclusive Family and Friends Vacation Planner service.  This is fantastic for family reunions.  Someone who helps decide the best accommodations for all generations, interests, and individual needs.

The enormous suites include the famous 3-bedroom setup with rooftop decks.   A vacation planners sorts out your family, helps plan group excursions, Gourmet Inclusive meals, entertainment and even group photos.

There are plenty of ways to spend time off site during the vacation.  Remember, the resort is just a 10 minute stroll from downtown Playa del Carmen or the Cozumel Island ferry.

The Xcaret Eco Archeology Park is just 15 minutes from the hotel.  This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy an after dark musical journey chronicling Mexico’s history with over 300 actors taking to the stage at once.

Kids will never forget swimming with Dolphins or snorkeling with trigger fish.   There is a spectacular coral reef aquarium, underground rivers, beaches and natural pools.

There is a really cool experience called Sea Trek.  Visitors age 8 and up can be fitted with a 72 pound helmet that only weighs 11 pounds underwater.

Wear this amazing helmet that doesn’t even let your hair get wet while you walk 16-22 feet under the sea for about 20 minutes.   This is about as unique an experience you can have as fish swim literally in front of your face.

At Azul Fives Hotel by Karisma you can unwind with a spa visit, in-room Jacuzzi, or lounge.  Full service concierge and 24-hour room service will attend to your every whim.

Three restaurants and an awesome bar ensure plenty of ways to relax and recharge.  Try delicacies from the Mediterranean at the exquisitely appointed Sea Olive restaurant.   It opens for lunch at noon and supper runs until 10:00 pm.

Tsuki is strictly supper with treats from across the Pacific Rim.  This will be the highlight of your Gourmet tastes that come from Japan, China, and Thailand.   Remember that there is no need for reservations but there is a “casual elegant” dress code.

Flavours restaurant is a room with a view.  Breakfast, lunch or dinner comes with special views of a cenote which is a naturally created twisting river.  International dishes from around the world always satisfy here.

No one complained about the food, the kids weren’t bored, and no one was scattered about at the Azul Fives Hotel by Karisma.

Our home may not exactly be a luxury resort.

But that’s exactly what Azul Fives is.
