• Desire Suites - Two-story suites featuring a loft-style second floor bedroom with a king-size memory foam bed, 400-ct. sheets, a private bathroom and walk-in closet. Also a private terrace with a plunge pool, a second half-bath downstairs, an oversized living space with a dining area that seats 6, and numerous upgraded services and amenities (see above). • El Arrecife | Main Restaurant/Buffet - Open everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7:00am until 10:00pm. El Arrecife's dinner menu and cuisine varies daily based on special theme nights. No reservations required. **Dress Code: Casual (see below).
• Sahlo(*) | Gourmet Aphrodisiac Cuisine - Discover the erotic side to dining, at Desire’s signature aphrodisiac restaurant, Sahló. This sensual, romantic restaurant serves aphrodisiac inspired international cuisine in an intimate, warm and passionate atmosphere. Surprise pairings, exotic dishes and a selection of premium wines, all offer a unique experience that will delight your taste buds and ignite your senses. *Reservation Required. Dinner Only 6:30pm – 10pm. **Dress Code: Sensual elegant (see below).
• Suki(*) | Asian Fusion Cuisine/Teppanyaki - Features creative interpretations of traditional Asian cuisine from Thai to Sashimi, Sushi to Teppanyaki, amongst a wide array of other signature dishes. Open for Dinner Only: 6pm – 10pm. *Reservations are required only for the Teppanyaki dining experience. **Dress Code: Casual Elegant (see below).
• Tentazione | Pool/Beach restaurant - Located just beside the pool and facing the beach, this casual open-air palapa-style restaurant offers a great variety of sophisticated food served buffet style, such as ceviches, cordon bleus, gourmet hotdogs and hamburgers, and fresh salads and deserts, and Vegetarian options & Gluten-free options are available. Tentazione serves lunch and snacks everyday from 11:00am until 6:00pm, however hours of operation may vary based on weather conditions. **Dress Code: Casual (see below).
• Room Service - Enjoy Desire's deliciously complete menus from the privacy of your own guest room 24 hours a day. Snuggle up for breakfast in bed, have a delicious lunch in the late afternoon or simply plan a romantic night in with your favorite companion(s). ;-) *** Please note: Hours of operation may vary according to weather conditions. ALSO Premier members and guests staying in the Passion Suite will enjoy complimentary room service 24-hours a day, for other guests Room Service incurs additional charges.

  • Casual: Shorts, t-shirts, and coverups are acceptable, footwear advisable and may be required.
  • Casual Elegant: For Gentlemen: long pants and collared shirt. For Ladies: a dress or pants with an elegant top. No shorts, no t-shirts and no sandals.
  • Sensual Elegant: Same as Casual Elegant but with a sexy edge. Sexy is okay, displaying private parts is not. Also no shorts, no t-shirts and no sandals.

• Beach Bar - Located right on the beach, featuring friendly wait-service. Open hours vary by season and weather conditions.
• Melange Bar - 24-Hour Outdoor bar with evening entertainment featuring music, games and activities, theme nights, or sexy live performances, such as the Lingerie Catwalk show. Late night snacks available from 11:00pm until 4:00am. *Note: This bar is not a clothing optional area - Dress code is Sensual Elegant.
• Nude Jacuzzi Lounge Bar - Rooftop walkup/swimup bar. The notorious rooftop clothing-optional Jacuzzi lounge and bar features a 30-person hot tub and a circular, tempered crystal "see and be seen" open air shower, offering a 360° stunning view stretching from the turquoise sea to the lush surrounding jungle. Open from Noon until 3:00am.
• Tentazione Bar - Main Pool walkup/swimup bar. Grab a refreshing drink or a fantastic cocktail while enjoying the pool and beach view. This bar is open-air and sheltered by a palapa. Open from 10am to 6pm.
• Y Night Club & Couples Party Room - Disco/Nightclub. *Dress code is Sensual Elegant OR sexy costumes according to the ever changing evening's theme. And in the privacy of the Couples Party Room, passion truly rules the night. This room is exclusive for guests, because only guests know what happens inside. Decorated with dark windows, lounge beds and carpet, the Sin Room is the place where the wildest part of your vacation happens. "Y" Night Club & Sin Room is open from 10:00pm until 2:00am. Its days of operation vary by season, so be sure to ask about its schedule for your visit.

Live your wildest fantasies each night as you dress up in the perfect outfit to fit the occasion. Late-night entertainment typically moves to the Y Nightclub and - for some - the Couples Party Room (aka the 'Sin Room'). Note: Theme nights are subject to change without notice. If theme nights are important to you, let us know so the current schedule can be determined….but please be forewarned: Themes can change in the middle of the week.

• ** A note about the Marine Protected Area Fee: To protect the quality of environmentally sensitive Marine Protected Areas (MPA), the Mexican Government has implemented a fee for anyone (except guests over 60 and the disabled) participating in recreational or sports activities in or near these protected areas. The Reef located by Desire Resort & Spa is a designated MPA. All guests who use snorkel equipment, kayaks, windsurfers, etc. are obligated to pay this fee and must wear a bracelet to serve as proof that they have paid. Bracelets may be purchased at Desire's Sports and Activities Desk located by the Main Pool.

The Spa at Desire Riviera Maya Resort

The Spa at Desire Riviera Maya Resort is a full-service spa with a somewhat erotic, sexy vibe, where you'll still find a sauna and steam room, a wide array of body treatments, massages, facials, a fitness center, and typical salon services such as manicures and pedicures. What you won't find at other resort spas, however, is the sensual couples-only massage treatments that are very popular at Desire!

Groups & Events:

Desire Riviera Maya Resort & Spa is a smaller, village-like resort which does not have conference amenities, however they can (and do) host small weddings and have a wedding planner who can assist (complementary with any wedding package purchased). Keep in mind that all wedding guests must be over 21 and must be guests of Desire as they do not issue 'day passes'.

Getting There:

• Desire Riviera Maya is only 20 minutes from the Cancun International Airport in the Puerto Morelos section of Riviera Maya.
• After you exit customs and come out the double glass doors, walk all the way down the air conditioned hallway. You will see tons of greeters with smiling faces, but don’t be fooled…they all want to sell you a time share. These are not the greeters you want. Simply nod and keep walking all the way down the hall to the next set of double glass doors that will take you outside to the ground transportation area. From here, you will look for the Transportation Kiosk where a coordinator will set you up with the transfer van to take you to Desire Riviera Maya.

• This resort is for adult (21and over) children are not allowed. Minimum age for check-in is 21.

ADDITIONAL "HOUSE RULES" specific to Desire Riviera Maya Resort & Spa:
• Please dress appropriately in all the restaurants of Desire.
• We have created an open-minded ambiance at Desire, but drug use is strictly prohibited.
• Due to the nature of our Resort, please respect all guests. Taking photos or videos in public areas is NOT permitted.
• Please refrain from sexual activities in public areas.
• Please treat all guests with the utmost respect, and remember the Golden Rule: 'NO' means 'NO'.
• The reservation of the Palapa Beds is permitted (extra charge except for guests in Passion Suites and Desire Suites). If belongings are found on unreserved beds or beach chairs, they will be sent to the Front Desk as Lost & Found.
• The Hotel provides an in-room safe deposit box. Please use it to store all valuables when you are not in your room.
• The Hotel is not responsible for lost item left out of the safety deposit box.
