• Penthouse Passion Suite W/Plunge Pool - This enormous suite has a King-sized bed and includes a wide variety of amenities (such as complimentary private airport transfers and butler service) and unparalleled luxury, also a Premium Minibar Service that includes peanuts, candy, soft drinks, water, beers and premium liqueurs. Its separate living room area offers splendid ocean views and a private spacious panoramic terrace featuring its own plunge pool and double chaise lounge to enjoy magic sunsets with your partner. • Aphrodite | Contemporary International Cuisine - This is the main restaurant that features both a buffet selection and also an a la carte menu, with themed nights such as Italian, Brazilian and Mexican, and both indoor and outdoor seating. Open for breakfast (7am to 11am), lunch (noon to 4:30pm), and dinner (6pm to 10pm). No reservations required. **Dress code: Daytime: Casual. Evening: Sensual Elegance (see below).
• Pearl | Mediterranean Fusion Cuisine - A very avant-garde restaurant, which serves three different a la carte menus. Dinner Only: 6pm – 10pm and Late-night snacks: 11pm – 5am. No reservation required. **Dress code: Elegance (see below).
• Unik | Gastrobar/Tapas - Unik invites you to enjoy this delectable fusion between bar & restaurant, and offers a brief menu serving gourmet tapas accompanied by fine wines and creative cocktails. Open: 6:30pm - 10:00pm. *Vegetarian, gluten and sugar-free options are available. No reservation required. **Dress code: Smart Casual (see below).
• Room service is available 24 hours a day (but incurs a service charge).
• Also, a romantic beachside dinner can be arranged, but also incurs a fee.

  • Casual: Shorts, t-shirts, and coverups are acceptable, footwear advisable and may be required.
  • Smart Casual: Casual but no jeans, no shorts, no beachwear. Footwear is required.
  • Casual Elegance: For Gentlemen: long pants and collared shirt. For Ladies: a dress or pants with an elegant top. No shorts, no t-shirts and no sandals.
  • Elegance: For Gentlemen: long pants, sleeved and collared shirt. For Ladies: a dress or sensual night outfit. Men’s sandals are not accepted, no shorts, no t-shirts.
  • Sensual Elegance: Same as Elegance but with a sexier edge. Sexy is okay, displaying private parts is not.

• Agave (Located outside the disco) - Open 24 hours. An ideal spot to socialize with other couples. **Dress code: Casual
• Lush (Pool Bar) - Open 10am - 5pm. Swimup bar at the pool. **Dress code: Clothing Optional.
• The Wet Spot (Jacuzzi Bar) - Open from 1pm until 3am. In the late afternoons the action moves to this huge heated jacuzzi, featuring a swim-up bar, outdoor showers, daybeds, and music. The party continues until after dinner, when most people go to the Disco (Obsession) (Note: the Jacuzzi area is one of the two public areas where sex is allowed, the other being the Sin Room at Obsession). **Dress code: Clothing Optional.
• Obession (Disco/Night Club) - A unique club where you can enjoy a Mexican Caribbean beat with a DJ’s mix of music nightly. For couples only privacy, the Sin Room is the adult playroom at Obsession. Decorated with dark windows and lounge beds, the Sin Room is the place where you can live out your fantasies, with our without other couples. **Dress Code: Theme Night Attire or Sensual Elegant.

The Reef located by Desire Resort & Spa is a designated MPA. All guests who use snorkel equipment, kayaks, windsurfers, etc. are obligated to pay this fee and must wear a bracelet to serve as proof that they have paid. Bracelets may be purchased at Desire's Sports and Activities Desk located by the Main Pool.

The Spa at Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort is a full-service spa with a somewhat erotic, sexy vibe, where you'll still find a traditional sauna, steam room, Swiss shower, cold plunge pool and a large warm whirlpool, a wide array of body treatments, massages, facials, a fitness center, and typical salon services such as manicures and pedicures. What you won't find at other resort spas, however, is the sensual couples-only massage treatments that are very popular at Desire!

Groups & Events:

Desire Riviera Maya Pearl is a smaller, village-like resort which does not have conference amenities, however they several beautifully decorated indoor & outdoor venues, that include unique features such as cathedral ceilings, waterfalls, a natural garden, terraces patios and a private ‘Palapa’ pier, and have a wedding planner who can assist (complementary with any wedding package purchased). Keep in mind that all wedding guests must be over 21 and must be guests of Desire as they do not issue 'day passes'.

Getting There:

• Desire Riviera Maya Pearl is only 30 minutes from the Cancun International Airport in the Puerto Morelos section of Riviera Maya.
• After you exit customs and come out the double glass doors, walk all the way down the air conditioned hallway. You will see tons of greeters with smiling faces, but don’t be fooled…they all want to sell you a time share. These are not the greeters you want. Simply nod and keep walking all the way down the hall to the next set of double glass doors that will take you outside to the ground transportation area. From here, you will look for the Transportation Kiosk where a coordinator will set you up with the transfer van to take you to Desire Riviera Maya Pearl.

• This resort is for adult (21and over) children are not allowed. Minimum age for check-in is 21.

• We have created an open-minded ambiance at Desire, but drug use is strictly prohibited.
• Due to the nature of our Resort, please respect all guests. Taking photos or videos in public areas is NOT permitted.
• Please refrain from sexual activities in public areas.
• Please treat all guests with the utmost respect, and remember the Golden Rule: 'NO' means 'NO'.
• The reservation of the Palapa Beds is permitted (extra charge except for guests in Passion Suites and Desire Suites). If belongings are found on unreserved beds or beach chairs, they will be sent to the Front Desk as Lost & Found.
• The Hotel provides an in-room safe deposit box. Please use it to store all valuables when you are not in your room.
• The Hotel is not responsible for lost item left out of the safety deposit box.
