Baggage fees are not included in your quote….please check with your airline for their current Baggage Policies and Fees.
Baggage fees are typically cheapest if you pay them when you use the airline’s online Check-In process 24 hours before you fly.
If you’re not tech savvy and don’t want to check-in using online services, you can pay at the counter…but don’t be surprised if its $10 or so more expensive per bag.
Also, most airlines now will only accept credit cards if you want to by something when you are in the air…..e.g. Food, cocktails, wi-fi…….so waiving a $20 to get another drink won’t help.
Simple.
We buy in bulk. Just like Costco or Sam’s Club.
Because we buy in bulk, we get cheaper prices, – which we pass on to you.
It is an upward spiral.
Our prices are low, so more people buy, so we sell more, which gets us even lower prices.
It helps to have an A+ BBB rating. We have never had a customer complaint since 1976 – that we did not solve immediately.
Which we also pass on to you 🙂
This is a tough call….It’s one of those expenses that, if you need it, you will be so relieved to have it, and if you don’t you’ll feel like it is a waste of money.
After years of helping people get home from a vacation ruined by storms, accidents, or medical emergencies, I now suggest that you consider at least some form of Trip Insurance to protect your vacation investment.
We have plans that meet most everyone’s needs or budget. Ask us which plan will be best for you.
**Note..…The part of trip insurance you want to pay attention to is the medical and transport coverage. If you get very sick, or bump or break something, it is VERY expensive to get you home or to a stateside hospital, and your normal medical/health insurance is unlikely to cover you.
The best insurance you can buy is CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason).
As long as you let us know before your plane departs, you get 100% of your money back, including your airfare – minus the cost of the insurance (About $198).
And if you have to be treated or sent home, you are covered.
**Another Note…..We are talking about insurance, so read the fine print. We are not insurance agents. We make nothing on selling insurance. We just think you are crazy to put yourself (or your $3000 vacation) at risk to save $198. We buy it every time we travel. But it’s your call.
Please, Please, Please be sure to check your passport.
Nothing is more deflating than to arrive at the airport and be turned away for not having a valid passport**. It DOES happen.
**And it must be valid for 6 months after your return date.**
Just to be clear, it’s worth repeating – your passport must be valid (not expiring) for at least six months beyond your return date.
Many countries are enforcing this now. You may read that some people do skate by, but don’t chance it.

There are 2 prices that can change. The Resort price and the Airfare.
We monitor pricing, and as long as your room type is available AND the resort’s rules allow us to cancel and rebook it at the lower price for you, we will. We have no control over the resorts or their rules, but will do all we can to help you get the lowest price.
**Many times a resort will offer a big discount but it will be in the more expensive categories. So read each deal carefully – we do.
Airfare is a different animal. Once you purchase your air, you own it, regardless of who you purchase it from….this is the airlines rules, not ours. Unless you purchased a fully-refundable ticket (which most people never do because it’s more expensive)or buy Cancel for Any Reason trip insurance, there is no refund, BUT if you cancel your flight before it departs, the airlines will give you a ‘credit’ equal to what you paid, which you can use any time up to 12 months following the original date.
BUT there is still a catch – while you can use it at a later date, you will have to pay a $100-$200 ‘change’ fee and any difference in the price (which in most cases is higher). The only exception is Southwest Airlines, at this time they do not charge a “change” fee, just the difference in airfare if any.
I have nothing against the airlines. They are great partners. BUT, they have very rigid rules. So don’t expect them to bend much, if at all.
